Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Tree Arborist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tree care, including planting, pruning, groundsman and tree removal. This role requires a deep understanding of tree biology and the ability to work safely at heights and in various weather condition's. MUST BE Able to operate equipment, operate chainsaws, prune trees, chip brush, valid drivers license a must!!!CDL pays more and incentive to become certified arborist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tree Planting and Maintenance: Select and plant trees suitable for specific environments. Regularly prune and trim trees to promote healthy growth and maintain their appearance.
- Disease and Pest Management: Diagnose and treat trees affected by diseases and pests. Apply appropriate treatments to ensure tree health.
- Tree Removal: Safely remove dead or unwanted trees, ensuring minimal impact on the surrounding environment.
- Groundsman
- Safety Compliance: Operate and maintain climbing equipment, handsaws, and other tools safely. Adhere to all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of services provided, including hours worked and treatments applied.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Tree Arborist or similar role.
- Knowledge of tree biology, soil biology, and fertilizer compositions.
- Familiarity with climbing equipment and the ability to work at heights.
- Ability to operate handsaws and mechanical devices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications and training in arboriculture.
