Position Summary:
Q-Team Tree Service is looking for a motivated, hard-working individual to join our team as a
Tree Service Support Crew Member. This hybrid role includes responsibilities in stump grinding, woodyard operations, and
residential ground crew assistance. The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys physical outdoor work, takes pride in a job well done, and is eager to grow their skills in the tree care industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Stump Grinding:
- Operate stump grinding equipment safely and efficiently
- Assess site conditions to determine best approach for stump removal
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Clean up debris and ensure a tidy worksite upon completion
Woodyard Helper:
- Assist with log sorting, cutting, and stacking
- Operate chainsaws, and other yard machinery as needed
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized woodyard
Residential Ground Crew Helper:
- Support climbing arborists and crew leaders on job sites
- Rake up debris, and assist with cleanup
- Operate basic equipment like chainsaws, mini grapples (with training)
- Follow all safety procedures and always wear proper PPE
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL a plus)
- Experience with outdoor labor, landscaping, or tree work preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude
