Norel Service Company, Inc is seeking an organized and proactive Fire Alarm/Security Dispatcher to join our team.
The Service Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling service calls, ensuring effective communication between customers and service technicians, and maintaining accurate records.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a multi-tasker, and possesses excellent verbal and written communication abilities. The Service Dispatcher will also:
· Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer service requests promptly and professionally
- Create and manage service tickets in our system
- Dispatch field technicians based on job priority, location, and availability
- Schedule quoted and approved repair work with customers
- Coordinate and order necessary parts working with internal inventory department or vendors
- Assist with service billing and invoicing as needed
- Maintain clear and accurate records of all service activities
- Provide exceptional customer service and act as a liaison between technicians, clients, and internal teams
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, technician activity, and customer interactions
- Address customer complaints or escalations promptly and professionally.
- Support technicians by troubleshooting issues or coordinating additional resources
We prefer industry and/or service dispatcher experience as well as experience working with GPS and tracking systems. Candidate should have strong organizational skills, proficient computer/office software knowledge, and the ability to work under pressure when required.
