Title: Cat-Loving Front Desk Coordinator – Part-Time Leading to Full-Time
Starting Pay: $24/hour
Location: Mill Valley, CA
Are you a devoted cat lover who dreams of working in a space that feels like a sanctuary for cats and their people? We’re looking for a Front Desk Receptionist / Boutique Assistant / General Catch-All person to become the welcoming heart of our truly special cat grooming spa and boutique.

What We're Looking For:
- Excellent phone and in-person communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfort around cats — you’ll be around them every day!
- A proactive, dependable work ethic
- Availability for 3–4 shifts/week, with a clear path to full-time
This Role Is Not a Fit For:
- College students juggling school or seasonal schedules
- Applicants looking for short-term work or “just a job”
- Individuals with other part-time jobs — this position is intended to grow into a full-time role

- A true cat enthusiast — you intuitively understand cats’ unique needs and personalities

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their cats with warmth, patience, and professionalism
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, check-ins, invoicing, and client communications
- Assist boutique shoppers — recommending cat products and processing purchases
- Keep the spa and boutique tidy, serene, and well-stocked
- Support groomers and fellow team members to ensure smooth daily operations (this may include lifting heavy cats or litter)
Compensation and Growth:
- Starting pay: $24/hour
- Part-time position with clear opportunity for advancement

- Experience in pet care, grooming, retail, or boutique settings
