Gift Shop Clerk
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists gift shop patrons with purchases by promoting and recommending specific gift items. Effectively cross sells & up sells merchandise.
- Replenishes gift shop display shelves and racks. Accurately tags and puts away merchandise received.
- Helps maintain the cleanliness and organized look of the retail sales floor.
- Provides excellent guest service & responds to guest complaints and/or inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Held accountable for the thoroughness and accuracy of departmental records under his/her control, including the filling out and completion of comps and transfers of merchandise.
- Assists in all merchandise being accurately inventoried once a month and ensures that proper inventory control is maintained.
- Operates point-of-sale terminal for gift shop transactions.
- Maintains a thorough working knowledge of retail products, where gift shop merchandise is stored, and assists in retrieving merchandise from outside storage if necessary.
- Maintains a working knowledge of current and upcoming events on property in order to advise guests of same, whenever possible.
- Adheres to established cash control policies and procedures of the casino.
- Maintains professional grooming and appearance according to established grooming and appearance policy.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED preferred. Must have at least one year of retail experience.
- Must possess effective communication, retail sales, and guest service skills.
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Wardrobe Attendant
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures Wardrobe areas are kept clean and neat. All supplies are stored and organized, complying with safety standards.
- Scans, receives and loads clean uniforms to the uniform conveyor rail.
- Scans out dirty uniforms to designated cleaners and checks dirty laundry for damaged uniforms, difficult spots, and checks pockets for any personal items.
- Issues uniforms to new hires, including processing new hire paperwork printing and adhering name labels, and scanning uniforms out as assigned.
- Assists with receiving uniforms back from terminated team members, returning items to inventory for future use.
- Assists other staff members with general clerical and office duties as needed.
- Presses and spot cleans uniforms as necessary.
- Assists in inventory control to ensure uniforms are available and to protect the company’s assets.
- Keeps supervision informed of all issues and problems.
- Washes, dries, and folds laundry for internal departmental use as required.
- Ensures proper records are maintained for all uniform transactions through the use of the garment inventory management system.
- Provides excellent guest service to our internal customers and responds to guests inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, be able to push/pull up to 50 pounds and have the ability to use step stools and ladders.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
