We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Previous experience in hotel management or guest relations is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage reservations and ensure accurate guest information is recorded in the system.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately processed.
- Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, providing assistance as needed.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to enhance guest experiences.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a front desk role within a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to accommodate diverse guests.
- Knowledge of hotel management software is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
