Overview *
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leasing processes, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of property management and leasing practices, as well as excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with prospective tenants.

Responsibilities
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential tenants, highlighting key features and benefits.
- Manage the application process, including screening applicants and verifying their qualifications.
- Rent Collections and following up on unpaid rents
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant law, and Section 8 requirements to ensure compliance.
- Utilize property management software( Yardi Breeze)
- Assist in the negotiation of lease agreements and contracts while promoting upselling opportunities for additional services.
- Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly, employing conflict management skills to resolve issues effectively.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet tenant expectations.
- Provide administrative support related to leasing activities, including documentation preparation and office organization.
Experience
- Previous experience in property management or real estate administration is preferred.
- Strong sales skills with a proven track record in upselling products or services.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and tenants.
- Knowledge of facilities management practices and property maintenance protocols is beneficial.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining organized records.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
