We are seeking an experienced and driven Leasing Consultant with a background in sales and Yardi. Our team is known for being helpful and courteous, and we look for those same qualities in every new hire. Weekend availability is required.
JOB DESCRIPTION
A Leasing Consultant plays a key role in creating a welcoming and comfortable community for current and prospective residents. This position requires a strong service mindset, effective communication skills, and the ability to act professionally in all situations. Any circumstances outside your scope of duties should be promptly escalated to a supervisor.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and qualify prospects by asking the right questions and utilizing guest cards.
- Record all telephone and in-person visits immediately on the appropriate reports.
- Maintain guest card files according to established procedures.
- Conduct tours of the community and model units, highlighting features and benefits to meet client needs, and close the sale.
- Guide prospects through the application process, collect deposits, and ensure compliance with company procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
- Follow up promptly with prospects who did not lease to attempt to close the sale, or refer them to sister communities if needed.
- Monitor advertising effectiveness and track market competition.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
- Process service requests from residents and ensure timely responses.
- Complete assigned tasks and projects within deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or training.
- Leasing 101 certification required within 3 months of hire.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficient in basic computer operations.
- Professional demeanor in person and over the phone; positive attitude with a resident-focused approach.
- Solid understanding of property management concepts, with strong sales and closing abilities.

Pay: $42.66 - $51.37 per hour
