Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, with experience in fine dining and catering environments. This role requires a commitment to food safety and quality, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Duties
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards
- Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring seasonal ingredients are utilized
- Manage inventory control and maintain accurate stock levels of food supplies
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is prepared correctly
- Participate in catering events as required, providing exceptional service to guests
Experience
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food industry
- Banquet experience is preferred, along with supervisory experience in a kitchen setting
- Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Experience in food service management, including menu planning and inventory management
- Familiarity with dietary department operations is a plus
- Excellent leadership abilities, with experience managing teams effectively
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential
- Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is highly desirable

Pay: $22.86 - $25.00 per hour
