Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced person to fill a full-time position as a nighttime security at our private marina. Overnight shift work, five days a week.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the premises.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Provide assistance during incidents or emergencies, including administering CPR and first aid when required.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during investigations or emergencies.
- Document incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports for record-keeping purposes.
Qualifications
- Experience in customer service.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with individuals at all levels.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Certification in CPR and first aid is highly desirable.
- Must be physically fit to perform duties that may require standing and walking for extended periods, responding quickly in emergencies, and the ability to lift 25 pounds.
