Montessori Primary Assistant Teacher
Full-Time – 38 Hours Per Week
We are a warm, community-focused Montessori preschool dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of young children through hands-on, child-led learning. We’re currently seeking a Primary Assistant Teacher to support our classroom for ages 3–6. This role works closely with our Lead Guide to maintain a calm, consistent, and engaging Montessori environment.
Pay Range: $12.50 – $14.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule:
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Tuesday & Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Our Ideal Primary Assistant Teacher:
- Has experience in a Montessori Primary or preschool classroom.
- Is caring, patient, and passionate about early childhood education.
- Embraces the Montessori philosophy and child-centered approach.
- Helps maintain a clean, organized, and peaceful learning space.
- Supports the Lead Guide in lessons, activities, and classroom management.
- Models grace, courtesy, and respect in all interactions.
- Works as part of a collaborative, supportive team.
- Is reliable and able to maintain consistent classroom routines.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a Primary Montessori or preschool setting required.
- Montessori knowledge or certification preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Able to meet Texas childcare licensing requirements.
