Title: After-Care Teacher (Part-Time)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00pm to 5:45pm
Compensation: $20 per hour
About the Role: We are looking for a high energy, enthusiastic team player who would like to join a small Montessori school. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with elementary and middle school aged children. If you have a deep belief in the Montessori educational philosophy, a love of collaboration, and a true respect for children we would love the opportunity to meet with you.
Job Responsibilities
· Provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for aftercare including but not limited to:
- Art Projects
- Music
- Free Play/Playground
· Maintain professional relationships with parents and legal guardians of the students in order to keep them informed of their child’s progress.
· Collaborate with other teachers and administrators in order to share best practices and provide meaningful feedback regularly.
Job Skills and Qualifications
Required:
- Ability to pass State and National Background checks
- 18 years and older
- 45 Hours DFC, or is willing to complete within the first 90 days of employment
- Willing to learn and follow the Montessori Philosophy

Preferred:
- Experience working with children
- Ability to speak for long periods of time and perform light physical labor including lifting, bending, reaching, and walking up the stairs
