Objective
This position is responsible for the overall management of the innovation, curriculum development, student satisfaction, and growth of the Department of Business for Moody Online.
Essential Functions

- Provide strategic leadership for the Department of Business, developing innovative curriculum and programs to enhance student success
- Oversee programs’ success by monitoring Key Performance Indicators, including enrollment projections, retention rates, and graduation rates
- Develop and leverage partnerships with institutional stakeholders, including Moody Global Media, Moody Publishing, and the Educational Initiatives Team
- Collaborate with the Associate Dean of Academics to establish department goals using student/faculty feedback and accreditation requirements
- Recruit and train high-quality adjunct faculty in collaboration with the Associate Dean of Faculty and Operations
- Lead faculty through mentoring, team leadership, and effective communication with diverse populations
- Enhance curriculum by collaborating with the Instructional Design Team to develop courses in emerging areas like digital marketing and AI applications
- Oversee student success through effective academic advising systems, collaborating with advisors and the MO Concierge
- Collaborate with the Associate Dean of Academics on budget and resource allocation to maintain strong ROI
- Proactively anticipate operational needs, execute strategic initiatives independently, and lead innovative projects from conception to completion while maintaining accountability for results
- Evaluate priorities effectively and take decisive action in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Be prompt in submission of reports and other required information
- Establish annual performance goals and commit to professional development based on review outcomes
- Engage in Moody Online events and activities as appropriate and if available
- Engage in academic scholarship through journal submissions or conference speaking, representing Moody Online and the Department of Business and Communication
- Be engaged in professional development, scholarship, and research
- Perform other duties as assigned such as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Hold terminal degree (MBA, MFA, PhD, DBA, or EdD) in Business, Management, Finance, Marketing, or closely related field
- Possess one degree from a Christian/Bible college or equivalent theological training
- Completed minimum three years in higher education online teaching with some experience teaching online in a Christian institution
- Demonstrate specialization in higher education program administration, including curriculum development and faculty management
- Exhibit recent professional experience in business, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, communication, or media production
- Integrate business expertise within a Christian ministry setting either vocationally or as a volunteer, preferably in a leadership position
- Synthesize personal commitment to Christian faith with proven ability to integrate biblical principles into business education
- Model personal integrity, spiritual growth, and Christian character
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Preferred Requirements
- Higher education administration or industry leadership experience over a sustained period of time
- Familiarity with emerging educational technologies and industry applications
- Willingness to engage in professional development and represent the institution in the larger scope of Business and Christian Higher Education

This job operates remotely. This role requires proficiency with standard office technology including computers, digital communication platforms, and online collaboration tools.
Hours: Regularly scheduled to work around 25-30 hours a week. Flexible schedule, Monday-Friday
Travel: Minimal travel expected for conferences, partnership meetings, and occasional on-campus events.
