Job Summary
The Purchasing Clerk will be responsible for supporting the procurement and inventory management processes within the organization. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Duties
- Collaborate with various departments to determine purchasing needs
- Place orders for materials or services as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and track deliveries
- Negotiate prices and contracts with vendors
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing
- Assist in production planning by ensuring timely availability of materials
Requirements
- Knowledge of production planning, logistics, and inventory management
- Familiarity with procurement processes, including price negotiation and contract management
- Experience with inventory control and procurement software like MRP or Oracle EBS is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.83 - $23.40 per hour
