Position Summary:
The Concessions Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling sales transactions, food and beverage preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized concessions area. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to delivering a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using a Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a pleasant experience.
- Food and Beverage Preparation:
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards and health regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock items as needed.
- Cash Handling:
- Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
- Reconcile cash register at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Sanitation and Safety:
- Maintain a clean and organized concessions area, including counters, equipment, and storage spaces.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Teamwork:
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
- Assist in setup and breakdown of the concessions area before and after events.
- Other Duties:
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Support additional venue operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in customer service, food service, or retail is a plus but not required.
- Skills:
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures.
- Other Requirements:
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

The Concessions Associate works in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, often during live events. The role requires adaptability, teamwork, and a focus on delivering excellent customer service under pressure.
