We are looking for a full-time veterinary receptionist to join our team who would be able to be available to work shifts Monday - Wednesday & Saturday from a time range of as early as 7am in the morning and as late as 7pm in the evening.
The Veterinary Receptionist is responsible for providing compassionate and quality service to clients under the supervision of a veterinarian. Duties include, but are not limited to, scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, organizing all client communications, handling all payments and helping to keep a steady flow throughout the day.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to clients.
- Handle all forms of client communication (Phone, Email, Fax).
- Schedule appointments and procedures.
- Process payments and handle financial agreements.
- Prepare charts for upcoming appointments and treatments.
- Maintain and update medical records.
- Proper understanding of alphabetization of client files and patient records.
- Clean and disinfect the clinic's facilities.
- Professionally update clients on cases as instructed by doctors.
- Triage patients over the phone to provide doctors with the most accurate information possible.
- Check in patients and direct them to the appropriate location.
- Other duties as assigned.
