Our client is a growing property solutions company focused on providing clients with access to a range of residential and commercial property opportunities. The company supports property owners in marketing their properties while assisting buyers and tenants in identifying suitable properties based on their needs, preferences, and budgets.

Job Summary

The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating property sales and rental opportunities by identifying prospective clients, marketing available properties, conducting property viewings, and guiding buyers and tenants through the transaction process. The role requires a proactive and commercially driven individual who can generate leads, build strong client relationships, maintain accurate property information, and consistently convert opportunities into successful transactions.

Requirements

Property Marketing

  • Collect accurate property details, photographs, videos, pricing, location information, and other relevant property specifications.
  • Prepare and coordinate property adverts, brochures, flyers, and social media content.
  • List and update properties on the company website, property portals, and other relevant marketing platforms.
  • Ensure property listings are accurate, attractive, current, and aligned with the company's marketing standards.
  • Conduct regular market research to understand property pricing, demand, competition, and emerging opportunities.

Lead Generation & Business Development

  • Actively identify and pursue potential buyers, tenants, property owners, investors, and other business opportunities.
  • Generate leads through property portals, social media, referrals, networking, cold calling, field visits, and other business development activities.
  • Develop relationships with property owners and potential clients to expand the company's property portfolio.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects and convert qualified leads into viewings and transactions.
  • Identify new opportunities within assigned territories and property segments.

Client Engagement & Property Sales

  • Understand client requirements, preferences, budgets, and timelines to recommend suitable properties.
  • Respond promptly to enquiries and provide accurate information on available properties.
  • Arrange and conduct property viewings with prospective buyers and tenants.
  • Present property features, benefits, pricing, location, and potential value effectively.
  • Handle client questions and objections professionally and work towards successful conversion.
  • Negotiate with clients within approved parameters and support the closing of sales and rental transactions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the transaction process and after completion.

Property Owner & Portfolio Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with property owners and landlords.
  • Source new properties for sale and letting to expand the company's portfolio.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of property availability, pricing, specifications, and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with property owners to facilitate viewings, inspections, and client enquiries.
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication between property owners and prospective clients.

Sales Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, viewings, follow-ups, negotiations, and closed transactions.
  • Update the company's CRM or sales tracking systems regularly.
  • Prepare regular sales activity and pipeline reports.
  • Monitor individual sales performance against agreed targets.
  • Provide feedback on market trends, customer preferences, competitor activity, and property demand.
  • Follow up on outstanding documentation and coordinate with relevant internal teams to support transaction completion.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in property sales, real estate, business development, or a related sales environment.
  • Proven experience in lead generation, client acquisition, negotiations, and closing sales.
  • Experience using property portals, social media, CRM systems, or other digital sales platforms is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of the Nairobi property market and its various residential and commercial segments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and actively pursue new business opportunities.
  • A valid driving license and ability to travel for property viewings and client meetings will be an advantage.
