About the role
We are seeking an experienced HR Executive (Payroll/Grants) to join our HR team at our Tai Seng North-East Region location. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in managing our payroll operations and grant administration. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, managing employee benefits, and overseeing grant-related matters in compliance with regulatory requirements. This position is integral to supporting our workforce and maintaining strong HR operations across the organisation.
Responsibilities
Payroll Administration
- Process monthly payroll accurately and within stipulated timelines.
- Process payroll adjustments including salary increments, allowances, deductions, reimbursements and commissions.
- Prepare final salary computations for resigned and terminated employees.
- Submit CPF contributions accurately and on time.
- Prepare payroll reports for Finance.
Statutory Claims & Government Grants
- Prepare and submit statutory filings including IR8A, IR21 and government surveys.
- Manage government grant applications and claims (e.g. CCP, GPL, NS MUP).
- Maintain proper documentation and follow up on submissions.
Onboarding
- Prepare employment documents and ensure completeness.
- Set up HR systems (Infotech, In-House System).
- Ensure employee records are complete and properly filed.
- Prepare employee e-namecards.
Leave & HR Administration
- Administer employee leave records.
- Track probation periods and prepare confirmation letters.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Prepare monthly HR reports and ac-hoc if required
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Payroll Management, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in payroll administration or a similar HR operations role
- Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws, CPF regulations, and tax compliance requirements
- Experience with payroll processing systems and HR software platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications for data management and reporting
- Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail in handling financial data
- Familiarity with government grants and employment incentive schemes is highly desirable
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality
