Business Development Manager

Multifamily Owner and Developer Sales

Company: Natural Wireless

Location: New York City and surrounding tri-state market | Field-based

Employment Type: Full-time | Individual contributor

Compensation: Base salary plus sales commission

About Natural Wireless

Natural Wireless is an established Internet service provider with more than 23 years of experience. We partner with residential property owners, developers, and management companies to bring building-wide Internet and managed Wi-Fi services to apartments and shared building spaces.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced B2B salesperson to secure building access agreements that allow Natural Wireless to install its infrastructure and offer residential services to tenants. You will prospect for new properties, engage ownership and executive decision-makers, present the business value of our services, and negotiate agreements through execution.

This is a sales role with responsibility for generating opportunities and closing new business. We are looking for demonstrated success selling products or services to multifamily owners and developers. Property management, leasing, or real estate brokerage experience alone does not meet the sales experience requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect qualified multifamily owners, developers, asset managers, and property management companies across NYC and the tri-state market.
  • Generate meetings through outbound outreach, referrals, networking, and industry events.
  • Lead professional discussions with ownership and senior executives about resident connectivity, building operations, installation requirements, and the value of a building-wide service.
  • Secure building access and license agreements.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including discovery, presentations, proposals, objection handling, negotiation, and execution.
  • Navigate approval processes involving ownership, asset management, property management, legal counsel, engineering, and construction teams.
  • Develop opportunities in existing buildings, new construction, conversions, and multifamily portfolios.
  • Coordinate with internal engineering and deployment teams to confirm feasibility and support project handoff.
  • Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline and forecasts and meet agreed sales and business development goals.

Required Qualifications

  • At least five years of B2B sales experience, with demonstrated success selling products or services to multifamily owners, developers, or senior property management executives.
  • A record of personally generating new opportunities through outbound prospecting and converting them into signed contracts.
  • Experience carrying a sales quota and meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to present a clear business case to executive decision-makers and handle commercial, operational, and technical objections.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and negotiating agreements involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation, written communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work independently and attend regular in-person meetings throughout NYC and the surrounding tri-state market.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales experience in MDU Internet, managed Wi-Fi, proptech, smart building technology, or building infrastructure and services.
  • Experience securing building access, bulk service, or portfolio-wide agreements.
  • Established professional relationships with multifamily owners, developers, asset managers, and senior property management executives.
  • Evidence of sustained sales results and long-term customer relationships.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual base salary.
  • Commission on qualifying signed building access agreements, based on residential unit count.
  • Commission on qualifying bulk Internet agreements and structured cabling projects.
  • Medical insurance and paid time off, subject to eligibility and company policies.
Commission eligibility, calculation, and payment are governed by the company’s written incentive plan.

How to Apply

Submit your résumé and a brief summary of the products or services you have sold to multifamily owners or developers. Include two examples of agreements you personally originated and closed, identifying the decision-maker, sales cycle, and your role. Please also summarize your quota attainment for your last two completed sales years. Do not include confidential customer information.
