The Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Business Development team by handling administrative and organizational tasks, ensuring smooth operations and enabling the sales team to focus on client-facing activities. This role is essential in improving the customer experience, streamlining processes, and supporting revenue growth by maintaining organized, efficient sales operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Coordinate and schedule client meetings, calls, and demos.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM, updating client information, sales activities, and status reports.
- Handle document processing, including order entries, invoices, and billing queries.
- Act as a liaison between the sales team, other departments, and clients to ensure information flow.
- Handle client inquiries and assist in resolving issues, forwarding more complex matters to relevant team members.
- Compile, analyze, and distribute sales reports to track team performance, forecast trends, and monitor goal achievement.
- Track inventory, product availability, and delivery schedules to inform the sales team.
- Coordinate sales events, trade shows, and client meetings, handling logistics, and arranging marketing materials.
- Collaborate with marketing to execute campaigns, promotions, and customer follow-ups.
- Screen and qualify leads, directing them to appropriate sales representatives.
- Support the team by generating leads from CRM data, online sources, and other outreach efforts.
Key Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in sales coordination, customer service, or administrative support (preferably in a B2B environment).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with CRM systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Comfortable learning and using new software tools and systems.
