Front Desk Receptionist

$18 - $20 an hour

AKAM Associates, New York's premier residential property management company seeks an experienced Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters located in Midtown Manhattan.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Answer multi-line phone in a pleasant manner and direct calls to appropriate staff
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Proper phone etiquette
  • Maintains a safe and clean reception area
  • Handles inquiries from clients and tenants
  • Prepare conference rooms for meetings and maintain conference room log
  • Maintain consistent communication with supervisor and team members
  • Assist with various clerical duties at the Reception Desk These may include but not be limited to light typing, coding invoices, performing filing, binding and labeling various documents and/or mailings, etc.
  • Great interpersonal skills & must be a team player
  • Able to multi-task
  • Position hours: 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & Publisher)

Requirements:

  • Must have at least a HS Diploma
  • At least 1 year of Administrative experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have strong time management skills and able to work well in a fast-paced environment

Hourly: $20/hr.; 40 hours a week, full benefits, PTO, 401(k), etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
