IT Help Desk Technician
As a Help Desk Support Technician, you will provide support to end users with computer, application, system, device, access, and hardware issues. A successful candidate will be able to identify, research and resolve technical problems, complete equipment installations, configurations, and upgrades as well as work on problem identification and resolution of hardware, software, and security issues.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to IT ticket requests for technical support in a timely manner
- Onboarding and setting up new hire equipment
- Document, track, and monitor problems using applicable systems and tools
- Coordinate with other teams or departments to resolve user problems as necessary
- Provide administration support for Windows 10
- Assist with technology product evaluations and recommendations (hardware & software); including compatibility and performance analysis.
- Work independently
- Provide outstanding customer service to end users
- May be required to lift up to 50lbs
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in desktop support
- Outstanding customer service skills
- CompTIA A+ Certification is a plus
- Experience working with Google for business and Windows machines (Experience with Windows 10 preferred)
- Able to learn quickly while being highly trainable/coachable
- Adaptability and flexibility
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Stellar work ethic and drive for success
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
