Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a solid understanding of corporate accounting practices. The Accounts Payable Clerk will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Duties
- Process invoices and payment requests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Perform general ledger reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
- Utilize QuickBooks to manage accounts payable functions effectively.
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or issues that require resolution.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment inquiries and discrepancies.
- Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions in accordance with GAAP standards. .
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks preferred but not required.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess financial data and identify discrepancies.
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation processes.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with vendors and team members.
