Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barber to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality grooming services to clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess strong barbering skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a commitment to enhancing the client experience.
Duties
- Perform various hair cutting and styling techniques, including fades, shaves, and trims.
- Provide additional grooming services such as nail care and eyelash extensions as needed.
- Engage with clients to understand their grooming needs and preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and managing client flow.
- Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and drive retail sales.
- Mentor junior barbers or apprentices in techniques and customer service best practices.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and assist with basic store management tasks.
Skills
- Proficient in barbering techniques with a strong portfolio of work.
- Excellent customer service skills to create a positive client experience.
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining client satisfaction.
- Experience in retail sales and understanding of retail math principles.
- Strong mentoring skills to guide less experienced staff members.
- Knowledge of nail care practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with eyelash extension application is desirable but not required.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
