Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at a Holiday Inn Express Williamsburg North. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage reservations and handle guest inquiries via phone and in-person.
- Maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Utilize hotel management software and phone systems efficiently to manage bookings and guest requests.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or resort setting is preferred, with a focus on guest relations.
- Strong phone etiquette skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests over the phone.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems is an asset; training will be provided as needed.
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- A background in hospitality management is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm for the industry is essential.

Must be flexible to work any shifts our shifts are 6a-2pm 2pm-10pm and 10p-6am
Hotel IHG Opera and Hotel Key experience is a plus. But willing to train the right person.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.50 - $15.00 per hour
