Proteus, a general aviation provider based out of Santa Monica Airport are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, provide insight over telephone and in-person on our flight training programs, provide dispatching of aircraft, efficiently manage the front desk operations, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

Duties
- Greet and assist members in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage aircraft check-outs and check-ins, take payments, and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries and customer interactions
- Stock and organize snack bar inside the lounge area
- Provide information and answer questions about flight training, rentals, insights into aviation.
- Keep the front desk and surrounding areas clean and organized
- Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a high level of member satisfaction
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Experience
- Previous experience working in sales, flight schools, or membership-based environments is an asset
- Experience with sales is necessary
- Proven customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at once
- Basic math & computer skills and attention to detail
- Ability to speak multiple languages (bilingual) is a plus
- Prior supervising experience is an advantage

- Experience working in sales; has knowledge of writing professional emails, and responding to customer inquiries.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
