Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food is served.
- Support catering events by preparing and packaging food items as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Strong culinary skills with an understanding of basic cooking techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
