Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Pawn Broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, purchasing, and selling a variety of items while providing exceptional customer service. As a Pawn Broker, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their financial needs and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Duties
- Assess the value of items brought in by customers for pawn or sale, using expertise and market knowledge.
- Conduct transactions efficiently using a Point of Sale (POS) system while maintaining accurate records.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries, offering product information, and assisting with sales.
- Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
- Supervise staff as needed, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain an organized and clean store environment, including product displays and inventory management.
- Perform basic math calculations to determine loan amounts or sale prices based on retail math principles.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase items available for sale.

- Proficient in using POS systems and cash registers.
- Strong retail math skills to accurately assess item values and manage transactions.
- Experience in retail sales with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating loan amounts.
