As the front desk person at Honey Yoga, you’ll be more than just a friendly face—you’ll be the heartbeat of our sales efforts, playing a key role in keeping our community abundant and thriving.
This is primarily a sales role—you will be the first point of contact for many new clients and a friendly voice that nurtures relationships. You’ll guide prospective members through our offerings, sell memberships (especially our unlimited memberships!), and ensure that each interaction brings us closer to our goals of growth and expansion. If you’re someone who is comfortable talking about pricing, promoting special offers, and closing sales, then this is the job for you!
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Customer service (answering emails, phone calls, and text messages about memberships, classes, etc.)
- Managing and driving the sales process—you’ll own this! From introducing prospective members to our offerings to following up on leads and closing deals
- Ensuring the smooth operation of the studio during your shifts including light cleaning and organizing
Qualities of the perfect fit for this role:
- Sales-focused and results-driven—whether you’re an experienced salesperson or have a knack for persuasion, you should be excited about hitting targets and making sales
- Money-driven! You will receive commission for this role and that should be exciting to you!
- Caring, outgoing, and friendly—a true people-person who loves building relationships
- Someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats but understands that sales is the primary focus
- Excellent written and verbal communication—you’ll be helping us grow through your interactions
- Yoga lovers are encouraged to apply, but even if you’re new to yoga, you should be excited to immerse yourself in our community. You need to understand (or be willing to learn about) the product you're selling.
What are the hours? To start, we need someone available during these specific hours (give our take 30 minutes here and there):
- Sunday afternoons from 3 to 6 pm
- Saturday mornings from 7–11 am
- Friday afternoons/evenings from 3–7:30 pm
- Monday afternoons/evenings from 4–8 pm
- Tuesday afternoons/evenings from 4–7 pm
What about pay? This role starts at $18.50 to $22.50/hour, depending on experience, with bonus and commission opportunities directly tied to your sales performance! If you’re driven, there’s no cap on how much you can help our business grow—and that growth will directly impact your earnings.
