Climber / Aerial Lift Operator – Tree Work Crew (Full-Time)
Location: Hampden, MA
Compensation: Competitive hourly pay + Overtime
Schedule: Full-time, 40+ hours/week (more during busy season)
We’re a busy, professional tree work company based in Hampden, MA, and we’re looking to add a skilled Climber / Aerial lift Operator to our team. If you're experienced in tree climbing, aerial lift operation, and enjoy working with a solid crew, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tree pruning and removals using climbing gear, a bucket truck or spider lift
- Operate bucket trucks and related equipment safely and efficiently
- Rig and lower limbs/wood with ropes and pulleys
- Maintain equipment and perform pre-operation inspections
- Assist ground crew as needed with clean-up and equipment
- Work safely and follow all industry best practices and company safety procedures
Requirements:
- Experience as a tree climber and/or bucket truck operator (required)
- Strong knowledge of safe rigging and cutting techniques
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Must be able to drive a truck and trailer safely and confidently
- Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card
- Class A or B CDL is a plus, but not required
- Arborist certification is a plus, but not required
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety
- Comfortable working at height in all seasons
- Willing to work 40+ hours per week, with overtime during peak season
