We’re excited to offer an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to provide high-quality administrative, reception, accounts, and project support for the Accommodation Office. This role plays a key part in supporting an active, student-oriented campus environment, helping create a welcoming and engaging experience for all.
As the friendly face and dependable point of contact for students, staff, and visitors, you’ll ensure our accommodation and homestay operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Whether you’re looking to take the next step in your career or gain valuable experience in a supportive team, this role is ideal for people who thrive in a busy, people-centred environment and take pride in delivering exceptional service within a vibrant university community.The salary range is $60,692 to $72,636 per year, pro-rata. The actual salary will be determined based on the skills, knowledge, and experience you bring to the position. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week), based at our Hillcrest Campus.

Campus Life provides a comprehensive range of relevant student services that support and enrich the Waikato student experience. The work of Campus Life is comprised of the following:
- Pastoral Care
- Health
- Counselling
- Accommodation
- Tauranga campus student support services
The Accommodation Service is responsible for all aspects of student accommodation including buildings, services and pastoral care as well as the provision of homestay services, accommodation advice and the operation of the University’s rental properties. The Associate Director Student Accommodation is responsible for the effective and efficient management of the Accommodation Service.
The Accommodation Office Manager is responsible for the management of the Accommodation Office.
