Job Description Customer Order Controller Indianapolis, IN/Hybrid A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Order Controller. The Customer Order Controller (COC) role exists within the Defense Sector as part of the Defense Services organization. Dream Big and Make an Impact In this role the Customer Order Controller will report to the Customer Logistics Manager and are responsible for providing aftermarket support for all Defense US engines. This is a critically important role that provides operational support which contributes to over $1B in annual shipments for Defense aftermarket service parts and new engines. You can learn more here . Key Accountabilities:

  • Acting as the primary Rolls-Royce interface to the customer's purchasing group
  • Providing complete customer service from the entry of external customer order to the delivery of parts and/or services contained within
  • Serving as an internal customer advocate, ensuring appropriate actions are taken to meet customer demands (researching material availability, material validity/alternates, and working through supply chain expeditors)
  • Managing the open order board, identifying and escalating critical shortages to supply chain managers
  • Reviewing contract compliance and communicating/resolving discrepancies through contract managers
  • Consolidating and reporting key internal supply metrics, including order fill rate, material availability, expedites, and arrears
Basic Requirements:
  • An Associate’s degree with 4+ years of experience in parts logistics OR;
  • A Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in parts logistics OR;
  • A Master’s degree OR;
  • In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in part logistics
  • Strong competency in Microsoft Office products to include Excel and Word
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen
Preferred Requirements:
  • A degree in Materials and/or Logistics
  • Prior experience working in logistics for the Military or in the Aerospace industry
  • SAP experience
