We are Looking for:
The Front Desk Operations Manager plays a key leadership role in our practice, overseeing all front desk activities to ensure smooth patient intake, high-quality service delivery, and efficient administrative workflow. This position requires a proactive leader with strong business planning and strategic execution abilities, along with a commitment to operational excellence and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day front desk operations, including appointment scheduling, check-in/check-out, patient inquiries, and communications.
- Develop and implement front office policies, SOPs, and performance metrics to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with clinical, billing, and administrative departments to improve interdepartmental workflow.
- Monitor and analyze patient access metrics (no-show rates, wait times, scheduling efficiency) and drive improvements.
- Identify and lead initiatives for process improvement and operational excellence.
- Oversee and ensure the accuracy of benefits eligibility checks, insurance verifications, referrals, and prior authorizations.
- Monitor and resolve first-pass denials by coordinating with clinical and billing teams.
- Support clean claims submission by ensuring front-end accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Collaborate with the billing department to reconcile registration discrepancies and improve cash flow.
- Lead optimization and daily use of eClinicalWorks (eCW) for scheduling, patient records, and front desk workflow.
- Train staff on system updates, workflows, and troubleshooting within the eCW environment.
- Leverage reports and analytics from eCW and RCM systems to guide team performance and decision-making.
- Travel to other CLS Health Locations as needed
- Performs related duties as required.

Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a healthcare front office or medical administrative leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), including benefits eligibility, prior authorizations, referrals, and denials.
- Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated strategic planning and execution capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
- Solid understanding of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards.
