We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Lighthouse Hotel, a Trademark Hotel by Wyndham. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor.
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate.
- Utilize phone systems to manage incoming calls and relay messages effectively.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a welcoming environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in front desk operations or guest services within the hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems is advantageous.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for effective guest relations.
- A background in hospitality management or related fields is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
