Summary
We are seeking a Forman to join our team at Gaston Tree Debris Recycling, LLC. In this role, you will oversee Daily operations related to the tree service facility, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining our commitment to quality service and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, inspect, and repair chainsaws, chippers, and other tree service equipment
- Schedule and prioritize shop tasks to support field crews
- Ensure all tools and machinery meet safety standards
- Manage parts inventory and order supplies as needed
- Keep accurate maintenance and inspection records
- Supervise and train shop personnel
- Work closely with operations management to minimize downtime
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in maintenance (tree service preferred)
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills (small engines)
- Ability to manage time and workflow in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for recordkeeping
- Proven experience in tree care or landscape maintenance.
- Familiarity with safety protocols.
- Knowledge of tree trimming techniques is essential.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards a plus
